An Everyday Classic, Elegant ‘Doll look’ for Pale Skin.

A well deserved day off and I decided to treat myself to some bargains and create a new look. So Boots stores are running a 3 for 2 promotion on practically everything so I decided to set myself a challenge and find myself 3 new products which will help me create a classic and elegant look on my pale skin.

For reference for my base I have used;

- Estee Lauder Double wear Foundation in Shell 1c1

- Estee Lauder Lucidity Transparent Loose Powder in Light

- No7 Natural Blush Cheek Colour in Soft Damson.

I applied a really small veil of foundation over moisturised skin and a coating of powder over my t-zone, a flash of No7 Natural blush over each cheek just gave me a bit of colour.

The Three Purchases -

L’Oreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick- 202 Impulse Fuchsia £7.99

A beautiful balm like lipstick that cares for your lips, I decided to step out of my comfort zone with this one and go for a vibrant pink (Impulsive Fuchsia). Rather than going for a full on look I applied this with my finger to give a more sheer coverage but it is very build-able.

I did have to reapply this throughout the day but with minimum effort and at £7.99 I would definitely repurchase.

Maxfactor Xperience Volumising Mascara In Black £10.99

What drew me to this mascara is the brush, I love this kind of brush and I find it really easy to use and the effects are great. I find this to be great everyday mascara that gives great coverage and volume for a day to day look. I tend to build this up, concentration on the roots of my lashes particularly for a fuller effect.

And finally my freebie and find of the week…

L’Oreal Superliner In Black Crystal (Usually £6.49)

As you may have guessed by now I am very fussy over my mascara and eyeliner brushes and applicators, this L’Oreal eyeliner has the winning formula, a brilliant product which comes in a matte black with a little shimmer and a great applicator which is almost like using a brush.

This lasted well all day and the ‘Crystal’ effect took away from the matte blackness which doesn’t always suit my small eyes. Was really happy with this product, interestingly they also do a ‘Luminizer’ version which comes in 3 different colours so watch this space…
