It isn’t very often that a brand like Yves Saint Laurent make face products pale enough for my extremely pale skin so I just had to try their Touche Eclat foundation to see if it lives up to its iconic Touche Eclat counterpart.

Available in a rather impressive 22 shades I was matched with BR10- Beige rose, this is the palest available shade with a rather pink undertone.

Mac Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation Review

Whereas my favourite foundations give me a natural matte finish I decided to dabble into the world of dewy and it was with this quest in mind I ended up at the Mac counter. Describing what I wanted; long lasting, medium coverage, fresh dewy looking finish and a creamy feel (I don’t ask for much!!)  This foundation is what Mac has to offer…

The foundation comes in the trademark black box and the product itself comes in a transparent ‘tooth paste’ style tube which you squeeze to release some product, as it is gel based this isn’t remotely messy initially but as you come to the end of the product this could become quite a fiddle.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

I have used this foundation on and off for 7 years (the off times usually last no longer than a week) Firstly I feel I need to explain my skin type, I am incredibly pale with normal to dry skin (I tend to get dry around my nose) I have a cool undertone that reddens easily (due to heat, embarrassment and hormonal spots)
